Kuênia was born from a simple intention: to create objects that remain connected to their roots. Its name is inspired by quê nhà, a Vietnamese expression that evokes the homeland – a place of origin, memory, and belonging.

This spirit shapes the brand's identity: the logo evokes the chim lạc, a legendary bird deeply rooted in Vietnamese cultural heritage, while the colors echo both the popular Đông Hồ art and the earthy beauty of natural materials. Together, these elements form Kuênia's visual language: warm, grounded, and subtly distinctive.

At Kuênia, beauty is never purely decorative. Each piece is chosen not only for its form, but also for the sensibility it conveys: a subtle link to culture, heritage, and origin, translated into objects designed to be fully lived with every day.

We believe that the objects we bring into our homes say something about us. Kuênia pieces are handmade in workshops in northern Vietnam, where natural materials are worked with patience, precision, and care. Rattan, seagrass, water hyacinth, shell, and other locally sourced materials give each object its texture, warmth, and character.

Some artisans devote themselves entirely to their craft; others alternate between artisanal production and agricultural work with the seasons, according to a lifestyle still linked to the cycles of the earth.
